Ace Rental Cars New Zealand believes in vehicle hire without any surprises. Please read these insurance details and terms and conditions carefully before you book.

When hiring a car from Ace you will need:

• a valid credit card for security
• a full and valid drivers licence
• to be 18 years or older

You will also need to adhere to our terms of hire which you can read here.

All rates on this website are in New Zealand dollars and are based on locations, availability and duration of hire. Any change in the dates or locations of your hire will likely result in a different rate being applied. Rates are subject to change without notice.

Please note: The toll road charges for the motorway between Orewa and Puhoi is paid by Ace Rental Cars. Please do not pay this toll.

Online Bookings and Internet Security »

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) and Other Insurances »

All of our cars have full, standard insurance cover included in the daily rate. The excess on the insurance is NZ$1,500.00 for drivers aged 18 years and over. We will authorise the excess of NZ$1,500 on the credit card provided for security.

Insurance Bond »

A pre-authorisation of NZ$1,500.00 will be processed on your credit card for all hires on which the Ace Rental Cars additional insurance option has not been selected. Also please be aware that debit cards are not credit cards and we cannot accept debit cards for the vehicle bond. Cash bonds are also not accepted.
